Mixed media on canvas

The main subject is a flower breaking out of its casing and entering in the next stage of its flora cycle; which also stands as a visual metaphor of the artist and the next step of his artistic practice. Using a combination of photography, wheatpaste, acrylics, and screenprinting, the piece stands as a representation of a milestone in his life as well as his creative journey, taking the step from “regular” work, and into the pursuit of a more intentional artistic practice.
